Meet Felix

Here is our new little BOY, Felix Clyde.

He is quite the sweetheart. Big brother Sulli can't get enough of him. Sullivan can be rough at times, but smothers his brother in kisses and hugs all day. I am surprised that going from 1 to 2 kids, has been way easier than 0 to 1 was for me. We are still adjusting to a newborn, but Felix is making it a pretty smooth transition for us all. We are very, very blessed to have him.

He was born a little guy - 6 lbs 7 oz and 18 in, which made for a quick delivery, which I appreciated. My birth story is interesting. I will have to share in an upcoming post.

For now, I am enjoying my last week of maternity leave with my two boys. The real world of work is fast approaching.

Love, Kianna

News

This little boy is going to be a big brother come mid August.
He loves babies, so I am sure he'll be the best big brother, ever.

Oh and it's a surprise.
We can't wait to meet this little one and
find out if Sullivan will have a little brother or little sister.
18 weeks to go.

I figured I should try and update our blog. I am the worst, but I know I always will be. Our lives are busier than ever. Work is going great for both of us. B got a mini promotion and will start that the first of February and I am still the CS Manager at Steal Network. I now go into the office 3 days a week (not full days) instead of just 1 like I used to - so that brings its challenges with dropping Sulli off for people to watch him. He loves it, so it is for sure harder on me. He spends one full day with Grandma M and two afternoons with Aunt Pam.

Sullivan just turned two and is the funniest, craziest, dancing little man I have ever known. Not one ounce of calm in this kid. The only time he is still out of the whole day is when he is sitting on my lap before nap time and bed time, and even then we have to be singing songs or playing a game. I have to say it is my favorite time of the day. It is just me and him, I'm not working on my computer, trying to get lunch/dinner fixed, or picking up the house. He is always at his sweetest and he really loves nap time. I think he enjoys being in his own crib with a few toys, his binkys (which will hopefully be gone soon), and his beloved blankets. It's just his own time. Sometimes we'll hear him 45 min after I put him down jumping like he's on a trampoline. He'll always eventually fall asleep.

He is really into music and dancing. During Christmas he fell in love with Mannheim Steamroller and I thought I could pull my hair out. Well, thankfully in his stocking was an Imagination Movers CD and he now has to listen to that every waking hour - literally. The second he wakes up in the morning, I come in to get him and he is singing the intro to his favorite song. We have to put it in that instant. His choice movie is Horton Hears a Who and really gets into the last song - Can't Fight This Feeling - he full on sticks his leg out, leans forward, makes a fist and pulls it to his chest and makes a singer face. I have got to get it on video. It is the most adorable thing ever.

His favorite things:
-Feeding the cats kitty treats
-Singing Popcorn Popping on the Apricot Tree
-Watermelon
-Dancing
-Chocolate Milk
-Eating popcorn
-Laying in mom and dads bed with the covers pulled up to his chin
-Running everywhere
-Stealing dads nose
-French Fries
-Movies - Horton Hears a Hoo, Curious George, Toy Story and Monsters Inc.

Here are some recent pics we had taken in October.
